While stuck in a hospital bed at Walter Reed, I put together a collection of some select poems I wrote between the years of 2005 and 2021. They were written in Afghanistan, Oregon, and England, with so much content and context in-between... I drew the cover art shortly after my last leg was amputated. The medium/s were pastels, chalk, charcoal, pipe tobacco ash, and mud, and it was drawn in one sitting -- on the banks of the Willamette River.
